Today I have something different for y’all. I decided to make a little three-part series about concerts: what makeup to wear, what clothes to wear, and then some things that you should bring. I was gonna make this a Warped Tour series, but considering the fact that Warped won’t really be a thing after next year, I decided it won’t really be that relevant in years to come.
Concerts, however, are still alive and thriving. I go to concerts often, and usually I tread lightly when it comes to makeup. I know that I’m gonna be either crowd surfing, moshing, or just getting pushed around in general, so I like to keep my makeup light — I don’t want to worry that the sweat rolling down into my eyes is taking off some intricate eyeshadow or that the red lipstick that was precisely placed is now down on my chin.
But hey, that’s just me! Makeup is really fun and it’s also a huge part of the pop punk/alternative scene for both men and women. Makeup is fun and expressive so definitely go for what you feel comfortable wearing and what works for your skin. This is just what works for me and what I prefer to wear.
Check back next week for part two of this little concert series!
